Dennis Bedford

BEDFORD, Dennis G Age 68, of The Villages, FL, formerly of Fenton, passed away Friday, August 29, 2014. Services will be held 2 PM Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Denny was born July 30, 1946 in Flint, the son of Milton and Elizabeth Bedford. He retired from General Motors (Buick Engineering) with over 30 years of service. In 2009, he moved to The Villages, FL and attended Tri County Baptist Church, Lady Lake, FL. Throughout Mr. Bedford's life he enjoyed golfing, softball, snowmobiling, tinkering with cars and antique car shows. He was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers. Surviving are his wife, Diane E. (Setzke) Bedford; daughters, Shelley and husband Gregg Hanchett of Flushing, Carrie and husband Todd Degazio of Linden; stepson, Jeff and wife Laura Setzke of Fenton; stepdaughter, Jill and husband Noel Dean of Lowell; grandchildren; Hayley, Aaron, Jackson, Madeline, Charlotte, Kayla, Chanse, Kanon, Zeth, Darby, and Doak; sister, Barb and husband Tom Dion; nephews, Bob and Will.
