Dennis Cornell

CORNELL, Dennis Olen -- age 61, of Fenton, died May 3, 2014 at his home. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, May 7 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road. Interment in Lakeside Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday and Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Dennis was born on May 2, 1953 in Greenville, SC, the son of Olen and Patricia (Burghardt) Cornell. He married Norma Jean Badgero on June 8, 1973. He was employed for AFC Holcroft as a machine operator. Dennis is survived by wife of 40 years Norma Jean; two daughters Heather and husband James Trites of Perry, Vanessa Cornell Hensley of Fenton; four grandchildren, Bethany, Tori and Tyler Trites, Micah Martinez.
