Dennis Dean LANDE

LANDE, Dennis Dean - age 79, of Flint, died Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Kith Haven. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Mr. Leonard Meizlish officiating. Interment will follow at Machpelah Cemetery, Flint. Memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Beth Israel or the charity of one's choice. Mr. Lande was born May 27, 1934 in Saginaw, the son of William and Grace (Millar) Lande. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Lande married Dianna Martin in April of 1971. He retired from Fisher Body I in 1988. Mr. Lande was a member of Congregation Beth Israel. He enjoyed playing golf, bowling and Nascar. Surviving are: wife, Dianna of Flint; four children, Donna (James) Martin of Troy, Matthew Lande (Jennifer Clark) of Flint, Daniel (Jamie) LeCureux of CO, Denise (Ray) Anderson of CA; 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Leonard Meizlish; two nieces, Deborah Meizlish Botkin and Andrea Meizlish and many cousins also survive.
