Derik Brendle

BRENDLE, Derik Robert - age 32, of Linden, died Sunday, January 22, 2017. A celebration of life will be held 11 AM Friday, January 27, 2017 at St. Jude Episcopal Church, 106 E. Elizabeth St., Fenton with Rev. Tracie L. Little officiating. The family will receive friend from 10 AM - 11 AM at the church. Derik was born December 25, 1984 in Long Beach, CA, the son of Rik Brendle and Kim Lan Pennington. Derik was a employed at The Machine Shop and Bar Louie. He had a zest for life and brought light to every situation and everyone he met. He loved his family and friends, always putting others first. Derik also had a passion to serve others and loved to cook. Surviving are: mother, Kim Lon and husband, Edward Pennington of Kailua, HI; father, Rik Brendle of AR; sister, Krystle Brendle of GA; two brothers, Jacob Pennington of Kailua, HI and Aaron Pennington of Kailua, HI; nephew, Oliver Kanae-Pennington; grandfather, Robert Brendle; grandmother, Dedra Grossmann; great-grandmother, Margaret Ancic of Fenton; uncles, Christopher (Teresa) Pennington of Linden, Jason Pennington of Lansing and Stephen (Ashley) Pennington of OH; aunt, Raquel Gazzi of Fenton; many cousins also survive.
