Dolores Ann Rutherford

RUTHERFORD, Dolores Ann - age 82, of Grand Blanc Twp., formerly of Linden, passed away September 15, 2025. A private funeral service will be held with burial following at Crestwood Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden, MI 48451. Ann was born on March 19, 1943, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, the daughter of Charles Drexel and Velvene Dolores (Perkins) McMinn. She was an avid pool player who also enjoyed cards and bingo. Ann was a proud member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Curtis Wolverton Post 3243 in Fenton, where she spent many years of her life. She also served as bartender and manager of the Fenton VFW bar for more than 15 years, creating friendships and memories that will be long remembered. Surviving are: husband, David; four sons, Jeff (Mina) Ashley, Tim (Ronda) Ashley, Scott (Kim) Ashley and Rob (Trina) French; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Linda Phalen, Paula (Don) Sweitzer and Denise Costello.
