Don Francisco

FRANCISCO, Don Elmer - age 87, of Clio, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018. His wishes were to be cremated. A small Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, June 10 at the West Vienna Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Clio Area Veterans Memorial Park, PO Box 93, Clio, MI 48420. Don was born March 15,1931 in Montrose to the late Elmer and Evelyn Francisco. He served as a Corporal in the Army Airborne from 1951-1954. Don was a Dairy Farmer for many years. He retired from General Motors V8 Plant as a Foreman in 1987 after 38 years and four months of service. Don married the late Mary Ann Brown in 1955. They had two daughters, Denise (Dave) Bjorklund; grandsons, Brennen and Steven of Brooklyn, MI; daughter, Diane (Tim) Francisco-Prine, grandson, Maverick and granddaughter, Makenzi of Davison. Don married the late Joyce Marie Clark in 1961, late stepson, Rex Cornell, grand children Brooke, and Matthew. Step daughter, Raelene Niles, granddaughter, Deana (Scott) Rosebaum, great grandchildren; Anthony, Brian, Jami, David, Nicole and 9 great-great grandchildren. Don is survived by brothers; Bill (Lorraine), Bob (Betty), Jerry (Carol); sisters, Joyce (Hully) Chamberlain, Kate (the late Bob) Burry; many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
