Donald A. Charron Jr.

Donald Anthony Charron, Jr., of Rochester Hills, formerly of Sterling Heights, passed away May 27, 2025 at Corewell Health Beaumont-Troy. He was 73. Born October 17,1951 in St Clair, he was the son of Donald and Joan (Suisse) Charron Sr. Donald graduated after he joined the US Army in 1968, where he proudly served for 20 years retiring at the rank of Staff Sergeant, upon retirement he then served as a letter carrier for the US Postal Service retiring after 20 years of service with them. Donald was an avid model and miniature builder and a true fan of his beloved television shows, NCIS and The Big Bang Theory.

Donald is survived by his wife Roxanne (Ohmer) Charron; one daughter Ada Roth and her husband Ron; son Aaron Charron; step-children Dawn and husband John, Tina, and Michael and wife Maria; siblings Darlene and husband Jim, Ron and wife Denise, and Dean and wife Kathy. Donald was blessed with a multitude of loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Donald Sr. and Joan Charron; sister Diane and brother David.

Entombment will take place on Monday June 16,2025 at 9:30am at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4800 Belford Rd., Holly, Michigan 48442 where military honors will be conducted by the US Army and the Swartz Creek Amvets Post 3720. In memory of Donald memorial contributions may be made to the America Cancer Society or to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Foundation.
