Donald Alan Davenport

DAVENPORT, Donald Alan - Age 69, of Flushing, passed away July 7, 2023. Donald was born February 1, 1954 in New Orleans, LA, the son of Charles Howard and Rosemary Rita (Nienaber) Davenport, Jr. He was with the IBEW Local #130 in New Orleans for 30 year and Local #58, Book 2 in Detroit for many years. He was OSHA certified and worked as a traveling commercial electrician. He had lived in many places, including Boston, Las Vegas and New Orleans. Donald enjoyed the outdoors. He loved to hunt and fish. He also loved to cook. He is survived by his wife, Susan; children, Jerry (Matisha) Davenport Sr., Cathy K. Sullivan, Daniel D. LaCroix and John P. LaCroix; grandchildren, Jerry Davenport Jr, Everlyn Davenport, Samantha and Adam VanDeBemt, Daniel D., Steven, Andrew, Aidan, Sopia and Noah LaCroix; great-granddaughter, Winnie LaCroix; brothers, David and Howard Davenport.
