Donald Carl DILLON

DILLON, Donald Carl - age 82, of Grand Blanc died Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Genesys Health Park. Services will be held 12 PM Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Burial will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association. Donald was born July 3, 1931 in Flint the son of Carl and Mercedes (Marceau) Dillon. He was a 1950 graduate of Flint Northern High School and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in Korea. He married Patricia Ann Matsco on May 16, 1953 and she preceded him in death in February 18, 1985. He then married Beverly Jean Kleinschrodt on JUne 13, 1986. Mr. Dillon retired form General Motors Fisher I in 1988 where he had worked for 32 years. He then worked 10 years with John C. Miller Construction at the Great Lakes Tech Center. Surviving are: wife, Beverly; two sons, Robert Dillon, Matt (Patsy) Dillon; two grandsons, Theo and Chad Dillon; three stepchildren, Julie (Scott) Neilson, Jenny Goodier, Jeff (Donna) Pardonnet; step-grandchildren, Jessica Taylor, Corey, Chad and Chase Neilson, Melissa Goodier, Jacob Pardonnet, Kyle Goodier, Josh Pardonnet, and Zach Pardonnet; five great grandchildren, Ella and Aidan Taylor, Cadence, Cooper and Davis Neilson; two sisters, Ruthann (Jerry) Schluckbier and Elaine Hobbs; brother-in-law, Bob (Sandy) Matsco; numerous nieces and nephews; faithful and loving companion, Gracie.
