FOLLEN, Donald Edward Jr. - Age 65, of Flint, died Wednesday, August 27, 2014. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, August 29, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Fr. Steven Makranyi officiating. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Vernon. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 5-9 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Donald was born July 5, 1949 in Flint the son of Donald, Sr. and Frances Follen. He was a graduate of Beecher High School. He was a veteran of the Viet Nam War serving in the U.S. Army. He had resided in Flint his entire life. Donald retired form AC Delphi after 30+ years of service. Surviving are: 3 sons, James and wife Candace Follen of Flushing, Edward Follen of Mt. Morris, and Dennis Follen of Davison; 9 grandchildren; his former wife, Mun Pender of Mt. Morris and her daughters, Christina and Cynthia Phillips both of Flint; brothers, Mike Follen of Nevada, John and wife Kathy Follen of Eastpointe; and Tom Follen of Florida; sisters, Kathy Phillips of Nevada and Ann Kryger of Flint; several nieces and nephews.
