Donald Edward Hart, Jr.

Hart, Donald Edward Jr. - Age 70, of Flushing, died February 16, 2026. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Interment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later time. Those desiring may make contributions to the Genesee District Library, Flushing.

Donald was born May 9, 1955 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Donald Edward Hart Sr. and Janet (Forrest) Hart. He was a graduate of Swartz Creek High School class of 1974. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He retired from General Motors after 38.5 years of service having worked at AC, GM Tech Center, and then Warren Tech Center. He loved flying, having earned his pilot's license in 1990. He served in the Civil Air Patrol in the 1970's. Don loved Bowling, taking walks, going to the library, attending air shows, and traveling in his RV.

Surviving are: daughter Randi Lynn Hart (Miles B. Owens); granddaughters, Madison Munsey (Eric Matzinger), Sydney Munsey; sisters, Sherry (Brian) Rourke, Shelly (John) Fly; brother, Gary (Susan) Hart; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
