Donald Laduke

LaDUKE, Donald D. - Age 94, of Flint, passed away February 23, 2022. A Celebration of his life will be held from 12-4 PM Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Riverwood Luxury Apartments Clubhouse, 5500 Riverwood Dr., Flint. Donald was born April 21, 1927 in Flint, the son of Theodore and Hester (Herron) LaDuke. He married Virginia "Ginnie" Thomas on September 12, 1947; she preceded him in death on November 8, 2015. Mr. LaDuke was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps. He retired as City of Flint Fire Chief after 25 years of service. He also founded and operated Flint Archery in Grand Blanc for 20 years. He is survived by his daughter, Kristi Hunt (Jim Beeckman); son, Kirk LaDuke; brother, Theodore LaDuke; grandchildren, Tami (Steve) Marshall and Mitchell Clement; great-grandson, Cameron Matusik and many more grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Arlene Woodward.
