Donald "Don" Pratt

PRATT, Donald "Don" - age 88 of Lennon, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026 at McLaren Hospital - Flint. In accordance with Don's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Don was born on January 23, 1937 in Durand, Michigan to the late Charles and Dorcas (Stephenson) Pratt. He married Helen Esther Kolman on April 30, 1955 and they cherished 69 years of marriage until Helen's passing in 2024. Don worked as a Pipe Fitter at General Motors for over 30 years and enjoyed playing guitar at Jamborees and Senior Centers, in addition to hunting, fishing and working on old cars.

Surviving are his children, Darlene Swiger of Van Lear, KY; Anthony Pratt of Lennon; Robin (Harold) Roberts of Durand; Stephen (Melanie) Pratt of Kennesaw, GA. Don leaves a cherished legacy of many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter, Brenda Running; son-in-law, Herbert Swiger.
