RAMSEY, Donald R. -- Age 88, of Mt. Morris, died May 7, 2014 at McLaren Flint. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, May 12, 2014 at North Flushing Baptist Church, 7500 W. Mt. Morris Rd., Flushing, Rev. Dale Lewis officiating. Interment at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, and from 10 AM until time of service at the church on Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to the North Flushing Baptist Church. Donald was born October 13, 1925, in Clio, the son of Frank Chester and Mildred (Hobson) Ramsey. Donald resided in the Flushing area his entire life. He was employed by Conex retiring in 1983. He was a member of the North Flushing Baptist Church. Surviving are: 5 children, Ronald Ramsey of Flushing, Larry (Vicki) Ramsey of Flushing, Robert (Beth) Ramsey of Flushing, Debra Ann (Jack) Hutchins of Severeville, TN, Cathy (Richard) Valet of Flushing; 5 step children with wife Birdie; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Harold Phillips of Montrose. He is preceded in death by wife, Marian Louise Ramsey, wife Birdie Mae Ramsey; parents; sisters, Arlene and Norma; brother in law, Bill Stewart.
