Donald Guy Scheitler

SCHEITLER, Donald Guy -- Age 76, of Swartz Creek, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2006 at his home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Monday, August 14 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek. Fr. Amos Wischmeyer celebrant. Interment in Bendle Cemetery immediately following mass. Visiation will be from 10 AM until the time of mass at church on Monday. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society or the charity of their choice. Don was born December 29, 1929 in Durand the son of Guy and Beatrice (Hogan) Scheitler. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was married to Beverly Rapps on August 18, 1956 in Swartz Creek. He retired from Chevrolet in 1981. Don is survived by: his wife Beverly; daughter Gail and husband Leslie Winnick; brother Robert Scheitler of Durand; sister Beverly Franks of Mio; sister-in-law Mary Scheitler; and several nieces and nephews.
