Donald Arthur Strong

STRONG, Donald Arthur  Age 74, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, June 26, 2003 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Saturday, June 28, 2003 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 12 PM until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Epilepsy Foundation. Mr. Strong was born March 26, 1929 in Flint Township, the son of Lloyd Adrian and Marie (Fox) Strong. He married Charlotte Marie McGlinchey on August 11, 1951 in Flint. Mr. Strong was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mr. Strong was employed by General Motors Buick for 34 years retiring in 1983. Surviving are: wife, Charlotte Marie Strong of Swartz Creek; two sons, Michael Craig and wife, Lynn Strong of Adrian, Mark Steven Strong of Swartz Creek; two grandchildren, Ashley Leanne and Cordell Wesley Strong, both of Adrian; sister, Joyce Roman and husband, Frank of Mt.
