Donel Joe BRAGG Sr.

BRAGG, Donel Joe Sr. -- Age 77, of Flint, died November 20, 2013 at Kith Haven. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday November 22 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, Swartz Creek, Pastor John Grantham officiating. Private interment for the family will follow at Bendle Cemetery, Clayton Township. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Thursday, 12-1 PM Friday. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimers Association. Donel was born May, 3 1936 in Long Bottom, WV. the son of William "Haz" and Nellie (Kaylor) Bragg. He married Charlene Standley on June 24, 1995 in Swartz Creek. He was a repairman at General Motors retiring in 1976. Donel was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. He was always "Busy"! Surviving are: wife, Charlene, children; Donel Bragg Jr., Guy (Tammy) Bragg, Darryl Bragg, Karen (Steven) Curtis, Christine (Bob) Maupin, Danny(Katherine) Bragg, Cathy Alsop; step-children, Kelly (David) Howe, Donald (Lee) Ripenbark, Michael Ripenbark, Robyn Ripenbark; 24 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Bettie (Jim) Peters, Bonnie Richmond, Rosetta (Alvin) McGuire; brother, Jackie (Vera) Bragg; many nieces and nephews.
