Denton, Donna Marie "Dawn" - Age 75, of Flint Township, died May 27, 2025 at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday June 1, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Saturday May 31; and 1 PM until the time of the funeral at 2 PM on Sunday June 1. Donna was born June 19, 1949 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania the daughter of Lloyd and Louise (Widman) Link. She married Frederick Denton on September 26, 1987.

Dawn embodied the very essence of love and compassion radiating warmth, and inspiration to countless lives she touched. Dawn was a devoted wife, mother, grandma and aunt. Her selfless spirit and generous heart profoundly touched the lives of everyone she met demonstrating the power of unconditional love. Cooking baking and crafting chocolates, for her loved ones as well as the homeless brought her immense joy and fulfillment, showcasing the beauty of kindness in action. Her passion for fishing and animals, especially her beloved dogs, reflected her zest for life and her infectious enthusiasm. Dawns remarkable thoughtfulness, kindness and unwavering faith in the Lord made her a shining example of a true Christian, inspiring others with her extraordinary spirit. By teaching others about Jesus’s love she embodied the very essence of God’s love, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone she touched.

Surviving are: husband Fred; three sons, Danny (Sandy) Bothell of Orangeville, PA, Ryan Bothell of Flint Township, Jamie (Jeanie) Bothell of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Billy, Celeste, Nick, Cameron, Joy, Charlie, Link, Donna, Sally, Blake, Joey, Mason, Jesse, Chaz, Harmony, Justin, Jamon, and Abbey; sister, Shirl (Gregg) Bothell, Marilyn (Bill) Steenburgh; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; Lloyd and Louise Link; grandson Luke; brother, Billy; daughter-in-law, Tina; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Fred and Elizabeth Denton; brother-in-law, Douglas Denton.
