FERGUSON, Donna Jean, age 75, of Flint, died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, December 8, 2012. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12:00PM Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 6340 Roberta St., Burton with Rev. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. The family will receive friends 11AM Thursday at church, until time of Mass. Visitation will be 12PM -8PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. A rosary will be prayed by The Daughters of Isabelle at 7PM Wednesday, followed by a Knights of Columbus Service at the funeral home. In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Donna was born November 3, 1937 in Flint the daughter of Francis and Kathleen (Connolly) Welsh. She married Rex S. Ferguson in Detroit on January 24, 1959. Donna is loaded with personality, she loved people, and never met a stranger. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Rex; sister Kay Welsh; four children, Rex Jr. and wife Penny, Bradford and wife, Karen, Gloria Grappin and husband, John, Mary Beth Rahn and husband, John; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
