WANGBERG, Donna Mae - Age 73, of Fenton, MI passed away Monday, April 6, 2026. Services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed below Donna's obituary). Chaplain Adam Doyle officiating. Burial for Donna and Kenneth immediately following at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 12:00 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Adopt-A-Pet, 13575 Fenton Road, Fenton, MI 48430, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Shriners Children's Hospital.
Donna was born December 31, 1952, in Green Bay, WI, the daughter of John Michael and Audrey Marion (Joy) Glass. She received a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menominee, WI. She married Kenneth Lee Wangberg June 6, 1987, in Harmony, WI, and he preceded her in death August 13, 2015. She retired in 2009 from Beecher Dunbar Pembine Schools in Pembine, WI after 34 years of service. Donna loved growing up on a farm and was happiest on a tractor. She was active in 4-H, her major project was in dairy, in training calves and cows. She enjoyed needle craft, sewing, cooking, baking, deer hunting, traveling, and gardening.
Surviving are: her children, Ashley (Adam) Prew of Fenton, MI and Lee (Rachel) Wangberg of West Bend, WI; grandchildren, Ryan and Elsie Prew and Lincoln, Charlotte, and Lyla Wangberg; and several cousins. Donna was also loved by and is survived by many friends and extended family, including John and Debbie Sorrell and the families of her children's spouses, Ron and Sandy Prew; Michele Rouleau; and Ron and Rose Metke.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, John and Audrey Glass. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
