Dora Elberling

ELBERLING, Dora May - age 80, of Fenton, died Saturday, February 16, 2008 at Genesys Hospice Care Center. Services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment will follow at Tyrone Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held 12-9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Dora was born March 10, 1927 in Howell, the daughter of Jesse and Pearl (Williams) White and was a graduate of Howell High School. She married Kenmore Donald Elberling on February 5, 1950 and he preceded her in death on May 22, 2004. She was a member of Tyrone Community Presbyterian Church and formerly attended Hartland United Methodist Church. Dora worked in the Pentagon in Washington D.C. during World War II and was active in many community and church activities. She enjoyed traveling and crafts. Surviving are: son, David C. Elberling and wife, Janet of Livonia; daughter, Cindy P. and husband, James Dougherty of Linden; four grandchildren, Eric, Amy, and Jeff Elberling and Michelle (Dougherty) and husband, Sean King; one great-grandchild, Sabrina King; brother, Garald White.
