Dora Horne

HORNE, Dora Jean - Age 77, of Otisville, died Sunday, July 16, 2017. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Guiding Light Tabernacle, 6203 Richfield Road, Flint, MI. Pastor Michael Horne officiating. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Guiding Light Tabernacle. Mrs. Horne was born December 20, 1939 in Flint, the daughter of Gerald Kingsbury and Gladys (Smith) Austin. She married Euwell C. Horne January 12, 1957 in Indiana and he preceded her in death September 11, 2015. She had resided in Otisville since 1969. Mrs. Horne was a member of Guiding Light Tabernacle. Surviving are: son, Michael (Lynn) Horne; daughter, Elly (Pat) Holloway; grandchildren, Michael (Silinia) Horne, Jr., Philip (Christina) Horne, Matthew (Shana) Horne, and Caleb Holloway; great grandchildren, Melody, Tyler, Julianna, and Matthew, Jr.; special mention, Roseann Horne; siblings, Barbara (Dewayne) Stone, LaVerne (Sylvia) Kingsbury, Lyle (Joan) Kingsbury, L.D. Kitson, Sharon (Wally) Reames, Jerry (Patsie) Kingbury, Ronnie (Brenda) Kingsbury; sisters, Joye and Beulah; and several nieces and nephews.
