Doris Dianne THOMASON

THOMASON, Doris Dianne -- Age 71, of Flint, went to be with lord on December 27, 2012. Memorial service will be held on January 19, 2013, 2PM at Shawn Baptist Church 2493 Genesee Rd., Burton, MI. 48509. Contributions may be made to the Shawn Baptist Church or St. Judes Childrens Hospital. Doris (DeeDee) was a loving wife of 50 years to Lyle (LD) Thomason, a devoted mother to her six children, and a grandmother to 14 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter Makayla. She loved all of her grandchildren "bushels and bushels and pecks and pecks". Doris enjoyed people and would talk to everyone including her QVC hosts. She loved the outdoors, gardening, and a very clean home. Doris will be truly missed by sister; Kathy (Frank); children, Harley (Chrissy), Lyle (Kathy), John, Arlene (Dan), Nan(Mike), and Teressa; cousin Gary; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and five brothers-in-law; her Shawn Baptist Church Family, Pastor Raymond Cocke; four lifelong friends, Pat, Norm, Ruth and Dorothy. Doris is now dancing in heaven with her husband, mother, father, two sisters and their husbands and many other loved ones she has missed for so long! Please "drive careful"!
