Dorothy Cobbs

Cobbs, Dorothy Maude - Age 80, of Flint, died Friday, September 19, 2014. Funeral services will be held 12PM Monday, September 22, 2014, at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Burial will follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Pastor John Bridges officiating. Visitation will be held 2PM - 8PM Sunday and 11AM until time of service on Monday. Dorothy grew up in Leachville, Arkansas before moving to Michigan. She retired from Beecher Schools Food Service. She volunteered at the Burton Senior Center for many years. She loved to travel and was a huge Detroit Tigers fan. She was preceded in death by her husband R.P. Cobbs in August, 2013. Surviving are: 3 daughters, Carrie Tinnin of Flint, Cheryl (Dennis) Parcels of Flushing, Marlene Brewer of Burton; 3 grandchildren, Amy (Chris) Cieslinski of Ohio; Michael (Ashley) Brewer of Burton, Tony (Liz) Parcels of AZ; 3 great grandchildren, Gavin, Carter, Jackson; Siblings, Ameuel (Nola) Young of MO, Wanda (John) Anderson of AR, Edward (Linda) Young of AR.
