Dorothy May NEELEY

NEELEY, Dorothy May age 93, of Fenton, died Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Crestmont Healthcare Facility. Services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with Pastor Jim Weigand officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to The Freedom Center, 2473 W. Shiawassee St., Fenton. Mrs. Neeley was born July 18, 1916 in Flint, the daughter of Charles and Grace (Tobias) Cheney. She resided in Fenton her entire life, recently attended the Freedom Center and was a member of the Fenton VFW Auxiliary. Surviving are: daughter, Mavis Eads of Fenton; son, Gerald Neeley and wife, Carleen of Fenton; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; sisters, Lela Eagan of Birch Run, Joyce Daniels of Millington; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: three children, Raymond and Bernard Neeley, and Shirley Jones; three brothers, Laverne, Edwin and Jerry; sister, Doris Kelley.
