Dorothy Woughter

WOUGHTER, Dorothy Bernice (Sias) - age 97, of Flint Twp passed away January 6, 2015 at her residence. Cremation has taken place to honor her request. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 2 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Msgr. Richard Groshek officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 PM until the time of service Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. Dorothy was born February 21, 1917 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Clyde and Grace (Atchison) Sias. She married Holden Dallas Woughter on 1940. She is survived by her four daughters and sons-in-law, Robert and Bonnie Phillips, Ronald and Joyce Oskey, Dennis and Linda McGovern, Charles and Sue Henningsgaard; 16 grandchildren, Robert W. and Lisa Phillips III, Matthew and Kathleen (Phillips) Zaroff, James Woughter and Jody Phillips, Timothy and Sarah Oskey, Robert Dallas Oskey, David and Melissa McGovern, Steven and Kelly (McGovern) Steffey, Aaron and Christine Henningsgaard, Abraham and Jamie Henningsgaard, Sara Henningsgaard, Jon Paul and Rebecca (Henningsgaard) Smith, Elizabeth, Jacob, Hannah, Mary and Abigail Henningsgaard; 17 great-grandchildren, Robert W. IV, Madeline, Olivia & John Phillips. Alyssa & Alayna Oskey, Kyle, Conner & Carson Steffey, Jacob Zaroff, James W. II & Callie Phillips, Sean & Drew McGovern, Malachi, Violet & Piper Henningsgaard; sister, Mary Rolfe; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, in 2009; her parents; her brother and sister, Gale R. Sias and Nancy Hendricks; her in-laws, Virginia Sias, Paul Rolfe, Jim Hendricks, Harold and Ada Woughter, Robert and Gladys Elliot; great-granddaughter, Grace Henningsgaard.
