Dorothy Dalton Thal

Thal, Dorothy Dalton - Age 96, of  Grand Blanc, died September 12, 2023. Graveside services will be held privately at Clover Hill Park Cemetery in Birmingham. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center,  6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. 

Dorothy  was born December 31, 1926 in Lansing, Michigan the daughter of  Guy and Madeline (Cunningham) Cook. She owned an operated the Carriage Shoppe in Grand Blanc for many years. She was a member of Temple Beth El. 

Surviving are: four children, Diane Thal (Peter) Gluck of Ann Arbor, Kathy Thal (Robert) Quayle of Grand Blanc, David Thal (LeeAnn) of Rochester, Laurie Thal of Grand Blanc; son-in-law Richard Hoag of Grand Blanc; nine grandchildren, Aaron (Jessica) Hoag, Lindsay Hoag (Jeff) Stern, Maleah Gluck, Adam Gluck, Marcus (Emily) Quayle, Leslie (Jacob) Farmer, Brett (Amy) Quayle, Tyler (Kevin) Dick, Casey (Austin) Verville; twelve great-grandchildren; she was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Terrie Thal Hoag; husband Richard Bennett Thal; husband Robert Barnett; great-granddaughter Sophie Quayle; and brother Charles Cook.
