Douglas J. Carrier, 52, passed away on January 12, 2015 at his home in Grand Blanc, MI. Formerly of Waterford, he was born on December 4, 1962 in Pontiac, MI to Wilbur (deceased) and Beulah Carrier. Doug is also survived by his loving daughter, Christine (Nate) Hunter, and his three sisters - Linda Russell, Susan Jelinek and Julie (Greg) Smith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and close friends. Doug graduated from Waterford Mott High School in 1983. He worked in the automotive industry as a manager in a prototype tube bending facility for 21 years. Doug was an avid skeet shooter and was a member of the Grand Blanc Huntsman Club and the National Skeet Shooting Association. He also enjoyed boating, fishing, camping, and being outdoors. He was recently honing his skills on woodworking projects and especially loved to rock out on the drums during jam sessions with his buddies. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
