CROSS, Douglas Edward - Age 49, of Sterling, VA formerly of Linden, died Friday, November 23, 2012. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, November 30, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St, Linden, with Chaplain Hank Messing officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 4-9 PM. Doug was born July 12, 1963 in Flint, the son of Leon Eugene and Mary Josephine (Bradley) Cross. He was a 1981 graduate of Linden High School. He was a member of the Linden Sportsman Club, life member of the NRA, and a former volunteer fireman for the Linden Fire Department. Surviving are: parents, Leon and Mary Cross of Linden; brother, Patrick Cross of Milford; nephews, Daniel and Matthew Cross of Milford; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
