Dr. Stephen L. Miller, D.D.S.

MILLER, Dr. Stephen L., D.D.S. - Age 53, of Fenton, died Sunday, July 20, 2003 of a sudden heart attack while attending a horse show with his daughter at Shiawassee County Fairgrounds. A Funeral Service will be held 11AM Thursday, July 24, 2003 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be Tuesday 7-9PM and Wednesday, 2-5 and 7-9PM at the funeral home. Dr. Miller was born September 20, 1949, the son of Roy M. and Dorothy R. (Cherry) Miller and had lived in the Fenton/Linden area for many years. Dr. Miller was a graduate of Dearborn High School, received a Bachelors of Science Degree from Michigan State University and graduated from U of M Dental School in 1975 and had practiced dentistry in Linden for his entire career. Dr. Miller was very involved with his daughter Brett with Arabian Horses and the Arabian Horse Association. He was a member of the American Dental Association, Deer Lake Racquet Club where he loved to play racquetball, was an avid fly fisherman and music was a big part of his life. Dr. Miller is survived by: daughter, Brett Nicole Miller and her mother, Kim Amthor of Fenton; mother, Dorothy Miller of Dearborn; brother, David Miller and wife Deb Saravolatz of Whitmore Lake; sister, Sharon and husband Tom McLaughlin of Clare. Dr. Miller was preceded in death by daughter, Darin Leigh Miller on August 18, 1998 and father, Roy M. Miller on February 17, 2000.
