Dr. Elma Sara VanLUVEN

Van Luven, Dr. Elma Sara, age 76, of Fenton, died peacefully, surrounded by family, Friday February 22, 2013 at Huron Valley Sinai Hospital. Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Monday, February 25, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Pastor Jim Wiegand officiating. Burial at Fairview cemetery to follow services. Visitation will be held 3PM to 7PM Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice. Elma was born January 20, 1937 in Detroit, the daughter of the late Dr. Harry R. and Mary E. (Peters) Coon. She was married to Ralph D. Van Luven who preceded her in death February 24, 2011. Mrs. Van Luven was an avid doll collector, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, gardening and arts and crafts. Surviving are; five beloved daughters, Sherry (John) Daniels, Vicky Lynn (Jonathon) Yinger, Cynthia Ann (Alex) Gresock, Patricia (Curtis Miller) Van Luven, Susan Joy (Aaron) Graham; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mary (Robert) Alvey, Carol (Paul) Attar.
