Duane Liley

LILEY, Duane Woodrow - Age 81, of Linden, died November 16, 2016 at his home. Funeral service will be held 2 PM Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Liley was born July 10, 1935 in Davison, the son of Woodrow and Bernice (Johnson) Liley. He married Stella W. Johnson on September 10, 1955 and she preceded him in death in January 1965. Mr. Liley retired from General Motors Metal Fabrication as a supervisor after 37 years of service. He was a true woodsman and sportsman and an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Liley was a member and sharpshooter at Linden Sportsman Club. Surviving are: three children, Cynthia Marie Liley of Linden, Steven Ray (Susan) Liley of Holly, and Lisa Anne Liley of Linden; three grandchildren, Stella Winifred (Joel) Alholinna, Lauren Liley, Katlyn Liley; three great-grandchildren; brother, Douglas E. (Darlene) Liley of Grand Blanc; nieces and nephews, Kathryn Liley, Michael (Barb) Liley, Mark Liley, and Julie (Ken) Thompson. He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Stella; son, Duane A.
