Earl James Cardiff

Earl James Cardiff - age 86, of Holly, passed away June 12, 2025. A committal service will be held 2 PM Monday, July 28, 2025 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly, with a celebration of life at home to follow. Earl was born October 4, 1938 in Royal Oak, the son of the late John Thomas and Rose Isabell (Picard) Cardiff and was a veteran of the US Navy serving from 1957-1961. In his younger years he was employed by Ford Motor Company and loved his Ford Mustang. He enjoyed string art, salt water fish and maintaining his tank and watching old TV series. Earl was an avid walker for many years, walking four hours a day. He enjoyed his neighbors and helping them when he could. He looked like Elvis Presley and like to dress like him. James is survived by his children, Deborah Froney (Rick Thomas), Donald (Rae Dawn) Cardiff, Jim Cardiff (Joanie Watkins) and Dawn (John) Rosas; 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; brother, Gerald Cardiff.
