BLANCHARD, Earleen Anna - age 91, formerly of Swartz Creek, died Wednesday, June 29, 2016. Services will be held 2 PM Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held 4-7 PM Friday and 1 PM - 2 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Blanchard was born November 20, 1924 in Linden, the daughter of Claude and Anna (Selden) Mundy. She was a 1943 graduate of Linden High School. Mrs. Blanchard enjoyed playing the piano, playing the accordion and gardening. Surviving are: two sons, Bruce (Anne) Blanchard of Grand Blanc, Roger Blanchard of Saulte Ste. Marie; grandchildren, Steven (Tanya) Blanchard, Kristin (Donald Roach) Blanchard; great-grandchildren, Lauren and Andrew Blanchard; brother, Gordon (Dorothy) Mundy; sister, Edna Wentzel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Basil "Buck" Blanchard on November 29, 2015; her daughter, Judy Grass; and many sisters and brothers.
