McKAY, Edna Mae - Age 77, of Fenton, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013. Funeral services will be held 12:30 PM Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Dale Swihart officiating. Burial immediately following at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to Susan G. Komen For The Cure. Edna was born July 13, 1935 in Goodrich, the daughter of Henry C. and Grace A. (Couture) Perry. She married Robert B. McKay December 12, 1959 in Flint and he preceded her in death July 15, 2011. She has resided in Fenton for the past 53 years. Edna had been employed by Fenton Extended Care as a cook for many years. She was a member of Tyrone Community Presbyterian Church, Fenton. Surviving are: 4 children, Robert and wife Krissy McKay of Durand, Karen and husband Alan Bathum of Rockford, Susan and husband Robert Brownlee of Fenton, and Pamela Hodson of Holly; 9 grandchildren, Robert McKay III, Crystal McKay, Heather Brownlee, James Hodson, Jr., Andrea Reynolds, Robbie Brownlee, Joshua Hodson, Kori Reynolds, and Cam Bathum; 2 great grandchildren, Aiden Richard and Ivy Jo; sister, Alberta of Oscoda; several nieces and nephews.
