Edna Mae MILLS

MILLS, Edna Mae - age 108, of Clio, died Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Maplewood Manor in Clio. Services will be held 2 PM Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint with Pastor Randy Schultz officiating. Interment will be held at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 1-4 and 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County. Mrs. Mills was born November 9, 1904 in Alpena, the daughter of William and Maude (Smith) Beatty. She was a graduate of Alpena High School and married Francis T. Mills who preceded her in death in April of 1968. She and her husband were active in the Wheelers and Dealers Square Dance Club. She enjoyed golf and bingo and was a honorary member of Iota Nu Sorority. Surviving are: two nieces, Sue (Don) Ellis of Clio, Noreen Barry of Burton; great nieces and nephews, Jason (Aleshia) Barton of Clio, Steve (Cheri) Tomasky of Clio, Peggy Barrett of FL; special great great nephew, Jakob Barton and many other great great nieces and nephews.
