LONEY, Edward Nelson -- Age 78, of Swartz Creek, died April 3, 2014 at Genesys Health Park, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make contributions to American Lung Association or American Cancer Society. Edward was born March 6, 1936 in Flint the son of Cecil E. and Sunshine E. (Palmateer) Loney. He worked for the National Elevator Industry. He had resided in Swartz Creek since 1985. Surviving are; 2 children, Heather Loney of Swartz Creek; Edward T. (Michelle) Loney of Flint; grandchildren, Allison and Jayden; his children's mother, Ellen Loney of Swartz Creek; sisters, Olive Kline of Burton, Sharon Stone of Flint; brother, Charley (Beth) Loney of Flint; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
