Edwin Belitz

BELITZ, Edwin J. - born on February 7, 1935 in Flint, the son of Elmer and Maude Belitz. Edwin graduated from Utley High School in 1953 and went on to work for Standard Cotton, retiring in 1970. He then worked for Royalite in Flint, later retiring to his home on Lake Fenton where he enjoyed boating and snowmobiling. Edwin had a love for travel and spent many years camping all over the United States. He had a special love for Mackinac Island and visited there many times. He also enjoyed country music and spending time with his family. Edwin was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Don; sisters, Dorothy, Hazel and Mary Richardson. A special thank you to the staff at Symphony of Linden for their care, with a special thank you to his favorite caregiver, Marylyn. Thank you as well to Gentiva of Flint for their excellent hospice care. No services will be held. Donations can be made in Edward's memory to Fenton Adopt-A-Pet.
