Eileen Hartman

HARTMAN, Eileen Joyce - Age 86, of Swartz Creek, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023.  Funeral service will be held 12:00 PM Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek (A live stream of the service will be available on Eileen's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com) .  Mr. Larry Gibbs officiating.  Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 11:30 AM until the time of the service.  Also there will be a celebration of Life service held from 1-4 PM Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Elms Road Park in Swartz Creek.  Those desiring may make contributions to a charity of your choice.

Eileen was born August 22, 1936 in Yale, the daughter of Harold and Elsie (Hawks) Winn.  She was a 1954 graduate of Yale High School and she attended Baker Business University in Port Huron.  She had resided in Swartz Creek since 1964 coming from Yale.  She married Richard Robert Hartman December 14, 1957 in Yale and he preceded her in death in 1975.  Eileen retired from Saturn Electronic (Eaton Corporation) in Oxford and she had also worked for Sears Surplus Store in Flint.  She was a member of the American Business Women's Association.  She enjoyed doing puzzles, board games, collecting cook books and recipes, sewing, crocheting, gardening, rising chickens and attending the Genesee County Fair (She was the longest continuous attendee of the Genesee County Fair).

Surviving are: her children, JoAnne (Larry) Middleton of St. Helen, Debbie (Al) Camper of Swartz Creek and Richard Hartman of Swartz Creek; 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Dorothy Winn and Beatrice Burt.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfunerahomes.com.
