PRICE, Eileen T.- age 85, of Fenton, passed away on August 26, 2026. Funeral Service 11:00 AM Saturday, September 5, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Jeff Jaggers officiating. Visitation 4:00 PM-8:00 PM Friday, September 4, 2026. Interment at Tyrone Memory Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Eileen's memory would be appreciated to The Hospice House of Sault Ste. Marie.
Eileen was born on August 9, 1941 in New Bedford, MA, the daughter of Harold Lewis and Anastasia Gertrude (Tynan) McGowan. She married Nelson Price on September 20, 1986. He preceded her in death on December 6, 2016. Eileen graduated from Falmouth High School in Falmouth, MA. She later completed her Nursing Training at The Children's Hospital in Boston, MA. Eileen and her first husband Tech. Sgt. Robert William Foltz, U.S Air Force, traveled the world together during his 20 year career serving our country. She moved to Fenton in 1972 and began her career as a Registered Nurse with the State of Michigan. Eileen was a member of The Fenton United Methodist Church and The Fenton Lions Club. She also served as a Teacher's assistant at Tomek Elementary School in Fenton. Eileen enjoyed artwork and painting.
Eileen is survived by her daughter, Valerie Foltz; son, David Foltz; her step children, LuAnn (Bill) Reed, Kathleen (John) Thomas, Kevin (Diane) Price, and Robin Price; and many loved grandchildren, and great grandchildren; her brother, James McGowan; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Eileen's family would like to thank the caregivers at Harbor View Hospice and McLaren Hospice for the excellent care they provided to Eileen.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Anastasia McGowan; her first husband, Robert W. Foltz; her second husband, Nelson Price; sister Jean Cavanaugh; brother, Michael McGowan; her step son, Chris Price; her devoted aunt and uncle, Bessie Mae and Charles who raised her.
