FISCHHABER, Elaine Rae - age 84, of Grand Blanc, died Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Abbey Park. Services will be held 12:30 PM Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 12534 Holly Rd., Grand Blanc, MI 48439. Mrs. Fischhaber was born September 2, 1929 in Lapeer, the daughter of Ernest and Hazel (Fitch) Thomas. She married Robert Frederick Fischhaber on September 4, 1948 in Imlay City and he preceded her in death on April 17, 2008. Mrs. Fischhaber was a secretary most of her life and enjoyed playing cards. Surviving are: four children, Diane Fischhaber of Swartz Creek, Robert W. Fischhaber (Carol) of Swayzee, IN, Dennis M. Fischhaber (Cindy) of Chelsea, Debra Webb of Flushing; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Friends may share an online tribute on the obituary page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
