Elaine B. Reno

Reno, Elaine B. - Age 96, of Flint Twp., passed away June 10, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday, June 15, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, MI 48473. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flint. Visitation will be held 12 PM - 2 PM Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County at www.geneseehumane.org. Elaine was born February 6, 1930, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Norman and Sarah (Mattis) Roe. She was a graduate of Flint Technical High School and attended Mott Community College for Criminal Justice. She married Kenneth Reno on February 7, 1948, and he preceded her in death on February 17, 2008. Elaine retired from Genesee County Probate Court in 1989 as a court recorder and secretary. She was also a licensed cosmetologist. Elaine was an animal lover and enjoyed gardening. She was very active in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Surviving are her two sons, Gregory (Connie) Reno of Flushing and Bradley Reno of Corunna; four grandchildren, Michael Reno and fiancée, Shilo, Michelle Reno and fiancé, Thomas, Steven (Daryl) Reno, and Heather (Jason) Hale; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Reno; parents, Norman and Sarah Roe; and daughter-in-law, Bonnie Reno.
