Eldoss GROOMS

GROOMS, Eldoss "Ed" - age 86, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Brian's House Hospice. Services will be held 1 PM Monday, April 30, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek with Don Tucker officiating. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Saturday and 4-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Grooms was born May 3, 1925 in Paragould, AR, the son of George and Lizzie (Howell) Grooms. He married Louella Noel on May 4, 1945 in Paragould and she preceded him in death on March 16, 2011. Mr. Grooms retired from General Motors in 1985. He was a member of Swartz Creek Church of Christ. Surviving are: daughter-in-law, Barbara Grooms and partner, Larry Hipkins; grandchildren, Boyd and wife Corinne Grooms, and their children, Bronte, Austen and Chase Grooms, Chris and husband Doug Carey, and their children, Jackson and Olivia Gene Carey; sister, Veola Richey.
