Elizabeth Bertha Sansam

SANSAM, Elizabeth Bertha  Age 92, of Linden, died Saturday, May 10, 2003 at Argentine Care Center. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, May 14, 2003 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden with Pastor Jack McMaster officiating. Interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be from 1-9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Linden Kiwanis Youth Organization. Mrs. Sansam was born February 17, 1911 in Tyrone Township, the daughter of Bert and Alda (Moore) Wolverton. She married Vern C. Sansam on October 25, 1929 in Linden; he preceded her in death in June 1975. Mrs. Sansam was a member of the LOOSE Senior Citizens and the Farm Bureau Organization. Surviving are: daughter, Shirley Embury of Fenton; son, Robert and wife, Geraldine Geri Sansam of Linden; nine grandchildren, Martha and husband, Dewey Herring, Mark and wife, Kim Kwaitkowski, Valerie and husband, Tod Malafouris, Dan and wife, Marta Embury, Tim Embury, Kim and husband, Terry Bishop, Eric Embury, Susan and husband, Doug Ford, Robyn Sansam; nine great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: her parents; daughter, Florence Kwaitkowski; brother, Evert Wolverton; sister, Alberta LaPointe.
