HARRELL, Emily "Beth" - Age 70, of Flint, died March 2, 2017. Funeral services will be held 2PM Tuesday, March 7 at Bristol Road Church Of Christ 1315 W. Bristol Rd. Flint. Visitation will be held 12PM until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers contributions to Bristol Road Church Of Christ in Beth's name or Genesee County Literacy Coalition. Emily was born June 18, 1946 in Flint, the daughter of Wesley and Emma (Bottoms) Harrell. She went to David Lipscomb College in Memphis TN. Emily worked at Beecher, Peck and Lewis. She also worked at the Woodard in Owosso, Brown Funeral Home on Davison Rd., also worked in Saginaw at Ball and Screw Dahner Corp. and at Banahan Corp. in IL. Emily helped many people with their education through the Genesee County Literacy Coalition. She is survived by her sister: Myra (Richard) Nowak of Davison; niece: Tanya Nowak of Kalamazoo; nephew: Daniel Nowak of Davison. Emily was preceded in death by her parents; and grandparents.
