Ernestine Forney

FORNEY, Ernestine - Age 77, of Laredo, TX, formerly of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, February 26, 2004 in Humble, TX. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-9 PM Monday at the funeral home. Ernestine was born August 14, 1926 in Greensboro, NC, the daughter of Charles and Etta (Smith) Foust. Mrs. Forney had resided in Swartz Creek for many years before moving to Laredo, TX two years ago. She was a longtime employee of Martin's Dry Goods. Surviving are: daughter, Nancy Forney; sister, Annie Margaret Shoffner; brother, Clifford Foust. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Paul Forney; sister, Lucy Wren.
