Erwin Dieter KRUEGER

KRUEGER, Erwin Dieter, age 76, of Swartz Creek, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at home. Funeral Service will be 1:00PM Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at German Church of God, 2393 S. Elms Rd., Swartz Creek. Pastor Waldemar Makus officiating. The fami1y will receive friends 12:00PM Wednesday until time of service at church. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 4-8PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Christian Unity Press, P.O. Box 527 York, NE 68467-0527. Mr. Krueger was born August 7, 1935 in Germany, the son of Gottlieb and Emma (Schlag) Krueger. He married Alma Mueller on December 1, 1956. Mr. Krueger was very proud of being an honorable discharged veteran serving in the U.S. Army as a Staff Sergeant. He retired from General Motors in 1996 and was a member of UAW Local 598. Mr. Krueger was a member of the German Church of God; he was a talented craftsman in woodworking and an avid reader. Surviving are: wife, Alma; daughter, Linda Krueger of Swartz Creek; son, Al (Rhonda) Krueger of Grand Blanc; granddaughter, Shannon (Derek) Parks; many nieces, nephews and other family members.
