TRIPLETT, Eugene J. - Age 77, of Flint, died Monday, April 18, 2016. Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 3-8 PM. Entombment at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Eugene was born August 2, 1938 in Detroit the son of Aaron and Kathleen (Houghtaling) Triplett. He married Shirley A. Gilmore August 30, 1958 in Texas. Eugene served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a plant manager for Helmac Co. in Flint. Eugene enjoyed auto and horse racing. Surviving are: two daughters, Kelly (Edward) Stockwell and Sherri (John) King; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Kathy and Bobby. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Bryan and Eugene Jr., and a son- in- law, Steven Cowan. Online tributes may be posted on the obituaries page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
