Eunice Carpenter

CARPENTER, Eunice Rachel -- Age 83 of Clarkston, formerly of Clio, died July 14, 2015. Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday, July 20, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Burial to follow at Thetford Twp. Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 5-8PM Sunday at the funeral home. Eunice was born August 25, 1931 the daughter of George and Bertha (Banning) Goff in Bentley, MI. She attended Faith Tabernacle Church in Burton where she was an active volunteer for funeral dinners and fundraisers. Eunice was also a member of UAW 32, and was also a Flint Osteopathic Hospital Auxiliary Volunteer for many years. Survived by: nephews; Benny (Cathy) Goff, Russ (Pat) Goff and Alex Goff, niece, Bev (Mike) Gwisdala, step-children; Dewayne (Ruby) Carpenter, Richard Carpenter, Janice (Orv) Miller, and Jerry (Pat) Carpenter, 11 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Preceded in death by: husband Dewayne Carpenter, parents, and daughter, Pamela Carpenter, and step-daughter-in-law, Janet Carpenter. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
