KARNOWSKI, Eveline May - Age 90, of Linden, died Sunday, May 28, 2017. Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St, Linden. The Reverend Tracie Little officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 2-8 PM where an O.E.S. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 PM and Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Episcopal Church or to a charity of your choice. Eveline was born May 15, 1927 in Flint, the daughter of John and Eveline (Barnes) Woodhall. She married Harry Karnowski September 16, 1950 and he preceded her in death January 6, 2010. She had resided in Linden since 1952 coming from Flint. She retired as the Executive Assistant to Judge Phillip Elliott and had also worked for the Genesee County Clerks Office. Eveline was a member of St. Jude Episcopal Church in Fenton. She also was a member Linden Chapter #175 O.E.S. where she had served as Worthy Matron, she served as Past Grand Matron of O.E.S. State of Michigan, and she served as High Priestess of the Ladies Oriental Shrine. Surviving are: 5 children, Steven, Andrew, Michael (Nancy), Catherine (Douglas) DeWitt, and Deborah Karnowski; grandchildren, Connor, Michele, Alex, Jaclyn (Pablo), Ashley, Corey (Ben), Christopher, David (Sarah), and Debra (David); great-grandchildren, Garrett, Joshua, Eveline, Haley, Connor, Carter, Krystal, Rebecca, Kimberly, Katelyn, Kasey and Maria; sister-in-law, Mary Woodhall; and several nieces and nephews.
